Turkey Unveils Rasat Earth Observation Satellite

In a grammatically challenged news pieces that was recently published, Turkey’s latest technological achievement was announced. the Rasat satellite is the first of its kind, an image acquisition platform that’s 100% made in Turkey.

The Rasat satellite’s transport to orbit will be facilitated by Russian firm Kosmotras at Orenburg in Southeast Russia via a Dneper launch vehicle attached to an SS18.

The Rasat satellite was built by the Tubitak Space Technologies Research Institute (Tubitak UZAY).
